Preamble

This documentation of the CashEDI datamodel was produced by GS1 Germany and is based on the GS1 XML Standards Version 3.6 issued by GS1 Global Office.

This documentation comprises a set of detailed XML message descriptions in html-Format as well as the download packages in zip-Format for the relevant messages of the GS1 XML Standards 3.6 issued by GS1 Global Office.

GS1® strives, through its Intellectual Property Policy, to avoid uncertainties by requiring participants in the working groups that develop this standard—the General GS1 Specifications—to commit to granting all GS1 participants either a royalty-free license or a RAND (Reasonable and Non-Discriminatory) license.

Furthermore, it is noted that the implementation of one or more essential features of a standard may involve a patent or other intellectual property rights. Such patents or intellectual property rights are not part of GS1’s licensing obligation. The agreement to grant a license under the GS1 IP Policy does not extend to intellectual property rights and claims of third parties who did not participate in the working groups.
